Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Manage and prepare the annual budget, collaborating with various departments to forecast future revenues and expenditures.
3. Utilize SAP software to streamline accounting processes, generate financial reports, and analyze financial data.
4. Coordinate with internal and external auditors for periodic audits and reviews.
5. Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
6. Implement and maintain effective internal controls to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
7. Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
9. Provide leadership and support to junior accounting staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. A Master’s Degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.
3. Proficient knowledge of SAP software is a must.
4. Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles.
5. Exceptional skills in budget planning and financial forecasting.
6. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
