Job Details
- Lead and execute core accounting functions, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and monthly close
- Conduct technical accounting research and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Support clean-up and standardization of historical accounting records across multiple entities
- Partner closely with the Chief Accounting Officer to align financial reporting and policies
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure documentation integrity
- Assist in preparing audit schedules and working with external auditors
- Participate in implementation or optimization of accounting systems and processes
- Drive transactional accounting efforts, particularly in the first 12–18 months post-acquisition
- Identify and recommend process improvements and controls to support scalability
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification is PLUS
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, including public accounting experience (Big 4 strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets and ERP systems
- Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset with a strong attention to detail
- Effective communicator with a collaborative and proactive approach
