Are you passionate about numbers and have a keen eye for detail? Are you driven by the challenge of ensuring financial accuracy and integrity? We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is a permanent role where you will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of our organization, ensuring compliance with the law, and preparing financial reports. You will work closely with our financial team to create and analyze financial reports, ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices. Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and statements.
2. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
3. Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities.
4. Conduct periodic audits, identify and rectify financial discrepancies.
5. Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
6. Develop systems to account for financial transactions by establishing and maintaining a chart of accounts.
7. Determine tax liabilities by interpreting tax regulations, completing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.
8. Coordinate with the finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
9. Evaluate computerized accounting systems and provide recommendations to IT team for performance improvements.
10. Generate financial reports and statements to Managers for review.
11. Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
12. Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially in MS Excel.
5. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
6. Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
9. A high level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity in handling confidential information.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
