Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing company, and to work closely with senior management. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting, operating budgets, and ERP systems. Experience with Epicor and Oracle is highly desirable. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the finance industry.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

1. Managing and overseeing all aspects of our accounting operations, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
2. Preparing and maintaining our operating budget, ensuring the company's financial performance is in line with our goals.
3. Utilizing your expertise in ERP systems to streamline our accounting processes, making them more efficient and effective.
4. Leveraging your knowledge of cost accounting to provide insightful analysis and reporting on our cost structures, helping to drive profitability.
5. Working closely with our IT team to optimize our use of Epicor and Oracle, ensuring we are maximizing these tools to enhance our financial operations.
6. Preparing financial statements and reports for senior management, providing clear and concise information to aid in decision making.
7. Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
8. Assisting with internal and external audits, ensuring all financial information is accurate and up to date.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within the finance industry.
2. A strong background in cost accounting, with a proven ability to analyze and report on cost structures.
3. Experience with preparing and maintaining operating budgets.
4. A high level of proficiency in ERP systems, with specific experience in Epicor and Oracle highly desirable.
5. Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and other advanced functions.
6. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and understandable manner.
8. Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all aspects of your work.
9. The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
10. A proactive approach, with the ability to identify potential issues and implement effective solutions.
