Job Details
The Sr. Accountant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and efficiency of operations. This position requires a degreed Sr. Accountant with previous government accounting experience.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and governmental accounting standards
* Generate financial reports while ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the reports
* Assist in the development and analysis of the annual budget
* Conduct regular account reconciliations
* Develop or update written procedures
Qualifications:
* 5 years of accounting experience
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Previous experience in governmental accounting or public sector finance
* Proficiency in accounting software or Excel
* Strong analytical skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
