Senior Accountant

Seeking a Senior Accountant to grow with the company as we continue to grow.

Our dynamic and rapidly growing organization is seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a fast-paced, innovative company. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in our financial management, including supervising Accounts Payable, managing intercompany transactions, and overseeing cash basis accounting. This position offers an excellent opportunity for leadership, problem-solving, and strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise AP and ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
• Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures, including preparing and posting journal entries
• Analyze and preparing accruals and prepayments
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure all financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
• Manage and track fixed assets
• Oversee intercompany transactions and ensure proper reconciliation
• Implement and maintain cash basis accounting procedures
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance
• Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
• Evaluate and improve internal control systems, and implement new processes and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounting for healthcare organization
• Proficiency in cash basis accounting
