Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
2. Participating in regular tax audits and payroll.
3. Preparing budgeting reports and forecast revenues.
4. Managing month-end and year-end closing.
5. Monitoring the daily performance of the accounting department.
6. Organizing financial data into useable information and maintain updated records.
7. Tracking the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
8. Establishing and maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions.
9. Ensuring compliance with the law.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Senior Accountant managing the month end close and financials for the business.
3. Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations.
4. Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes including budgeting, financial closure, and reporting.
5. Experience managing company audits.
6. Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software (e.g. SAP).
7. Well-organized with ability to prioritize.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
10. A team player who can also work independently.
