Senior Accountant

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Lead the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
• Analyze financial reports and provide recommendations for improvement and execution processes
• Manage prepaids and AP accruals, ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure that all accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis
• Work closely with the ERP system, Oracle preferred, and MS Dynamics a plus, to ensure that all financial data is accurate and up-to-date
• Provide support to the accounting team and other departments as needed
• Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations

Qualifications:

• CPA designation or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of prepaids, AP accruals, and journal entries
• Experience with ERP systems, Oracle preferred, and MS Dynamics a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
