We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and detail-oriented Permanent Senior Accountant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, demonstrating a high level of competence in a variety of areas, including month-end and year-end closings, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, audit, reconciliations, and GAAP.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all general ledger activity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Manage all aspects of AP and AR, including invoicing, collections, and vendor management.
- Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure financial operations are in line with established standards and regulations.
- Perform account and bank reconciliations regularly, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Ensure all financial reporting is in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed to support the finance team and overall business operations.
- Utilize NetSuite for various accounting operations, demonstrating a high level of proficiency and efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with other departments, providing financial guidance and insight as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience in public accounting required.
- Proven experience with month-end and year-end closings, AP, AR, payroll, audit, reconciliations, and GAAP.
- Proficiency with NetSuite, Coupa, bill.com, and Expensify strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
