Job Details
This is a permanent position where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and growth of our company. You will be responsible for the accuracy of the general ledger, account reconciliation, month-end close, financial reporting, revenue recognition, and compliance with ASC 606.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Performing account reconciliations and maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger.
2. Overseeing and managing the entire process of month-end close.
3. Preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
4. Ensuring accurate revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606.
5. Identifying and recommending improvements to financial processes and controls.
6. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
7. Working closely with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
8. Keeping up-to-date with financial regulations and accepted practices.
9. Providing guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA designation will be highly regarded.
2. 1-2+ years in Public Accounting
3. Revenue recognition experience
