Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to support the day-to-day and month-end financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting fundamentals and hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics for financial management and reporting. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely reporting, and supporting internal accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts regularly
  • Maintain and update accounting records and files
  • Prepare and review invoices, expense reports, and payroll entries
  • Lead and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Generate and analyze financial reports and summaries for management
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
  • Support external audits and tax preparation as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a senior accountant or in a similar financial/accounting role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (required)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred)
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
