Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
2. Conducting account reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
3. Overseeing the maintenance and integrity of the general ledger.
4. Assisting with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
5. Conducting financial analysis and reporting, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
6. Collaborating with other finance team members and departments to streamline financial operations and processes.
7. Utilizing Power BI to create interactive visualizations and business intelligence reports.
8. Ensuring compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements.
9. Assisting with the preparation of year-end audit materials and tax returns.
10. Providing guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related roles.
3. Proficiency in Power BI, and a strong understanding of its application in financial analysis and reporting.
4. Extensive experience with account reconciliation, financial statement preparation, and general ledger management.
5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insightful recommendations.
6. Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work output.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
9. A proactive approach, with the ability to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
10. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
