We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Permanent Senior Accountant. This role is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute their expertise in the medical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting duties with a significant focus on the general ledger and financial accounting. This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data and requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all general ledger activity, ensure all transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Conduct complex balance sheet and income statement analyses.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely completion of audit requests, and aid in the research and analysis of audit issues raised.
  • Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs and inventory valuation.
  • Lead and coordinate the budget and forecast processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engage in the design.
  • Assist with compilation and analysis of consolidated budgets and long-range plans.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of organizational procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with finance and non-finance departments to ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
  • Proficiency with financial accounting systems and general ledger functions.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes.
  • Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in the medical industry is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, with little supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and enhance organizational efficiencies.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel.
