Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate is experienced in general accounting and has a strong understanding of how the accounting function supports the business. This position reports to the Controller.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly corporate accounting close process.
• Assist in posting of journal entries in the GL to support month end close.
• Assist in quarterly reporting process.
• Assist in preparing various financial reports.
• Global account reconciliation process
• Journal entries and various account reconciliations
• Evaluate and recommend best practices and process improvement opportunities.
• Assist in activities with the auditors.
• Play an active role in ad hoc projects and help develop talent across the controllership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Big 4 Public accounting experience in a financial audit function of for-profit corporations is required.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex accounting matters/transactions, focus on the critical aspects of transactions.
• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects, while effectively operating in a fast-paced growing organization.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
