We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team within the Manufacturing industry. This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our financial operations, including financial analysis, general ledger, budgeting, forecasting, account and bank reconciliations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health and success of our business. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
2. Manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
3. Prepare and manage the company's budgeting and forecasting processes, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
4. Perform account and bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
5. Collaborate with other departments to streamline and improve financial processes and operations.
6. Provide financial expertise and support to management, assisting in strategic decision-making and planning.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest financial regulations and standards, ensuring the company remains in compliance.
8. Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
9. Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Expertise in Accounts Payable protocols, general ledger, budgeting, forecasting, account and bank reconciliations.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
6. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
7. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial colleagues.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
