Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic energy industry team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our high-volume manufacturing, ensuring accurate accounts reconciliations, and maintaining precise inventory accounting. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the energy industry and has a proven track record of success in this field.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the financial operations of our high-volume manufacturing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Conduct accounts reconciliations, including bank statements, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger accounts.
• Maintain accurate inventory accounting, including inventory valuation, cost accounting, and inventory control.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Provide financial analysis and support to management, including budgeting and forecasting, financial modeling, and cost analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize financial performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in the energy industry, with a focus on high-volume manufacturing, accounts reconciliations, and inventory accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with financial analysis and modeling, budgeting and forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
