Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Senior Accountant to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This position plays a critical role in our organization, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of accounting, with a focus on financial reporting, financial analysis, cost accounting, and financial accounting. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Manage the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
3. Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
4. Analyze financial data and provide financial models for decision support.
5. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
6. Oversee financial risk management.
7. Conduct detailed cost analyses and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
8. Ensure compliance with all internal processes and relevant regulations.
9. Provide expert advice to our team on a range of financial issues, using an in-depth understanding of the company’s financial status.
10. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
11. Interact with various internal departments and communicate financial metrics to non-finance personnel.

Job Details
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree or CPA is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
4. Proficiency in financial reporting, financial analysis, cost accounting, and financial accounting.
5. Experience with financial software and systems.
6. Excellent analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.
7. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-judged decisions.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.
11. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
