Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance industry team. As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting department, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations. This is a permanent position that offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including the general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage the monthly and year-end close processes, including coordinating with other departments and external auditors
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, customers, and auditors
- Provide financial analysis and support to senior management, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles and regulations
- Experience with general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
