Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Lead a small but growing team of accounting professionals, supporting development, performance, and collaboration
Prepare and review financial statements and internal management reports in accordance with GAAP
Manage general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations across multiple entities
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance accuracy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, compliance, and FP&A
Ensure all balance sheet accounts are properly reconciled and supported with documentation
Maintain and improve accounting controls and standard operating procedures
Support external audits and coordinate with tax and compliance advisors
Utilize advanced Excel skills to develop models, reconciliations, and reports
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA track preferred)
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership
Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
Proven experience managing general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting systems preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with discretion and professionalism
