Senior Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accounting Manager to join our team in the wealth management industry. This is a senior-level position that requires a Masters of Accounting, and at least 5+ years of experience in accounting, audit, and management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting functions of our organization, managing a team of accountants, and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and compliant with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting functions of the organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
• Manage a team of accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
• Ensure that all financial transactions are accurate, timely, and in compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial data
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Manage the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors to ensure compliance with audit requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, investors, and regulators
• Provide financial analysis and support to senior management, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Masters of Accounting or equivalent
• At least 5+ years of experience in accounting, audit, and management
• CPA license preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
