Responsibilities:
1. Managing the full cycle of accounts payable activities including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor communication.
2. Ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, credit memos and payment transactions.
3. Maintaining vendor files and updating records as needed.
4. Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual 1099 forms.
5. Identifying discrepancies and resolving billing issues.
6. Assisting with month-end closing activities and providing support during audits.
7. Developing and implementing improvements to the accounts payable process.
8. Collaborating with other members of the finance team and liaising with other departments as necessary.
9. Providing training and guidance to junior staff members.

Job Details
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience with 1099 forms.
3. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field preferred.
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
6. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work to tight deadlines.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make sound decisions.
10. A team player mentality, with the ability to work independently when required.
