**Job Description:**
Position Overview: As a Senior Analyst on our Portfolio Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the fund’s day-to-day portfolio management and operational initiatives. While this role will involve a significant level of accounting and audit support, your primary focus will be on portfolio operations, working closely with portfolio companies to help drive strategic initiatives, improve operational efficiencies, and provide insights to enhance value creation. This is a hybrid role based in Redwood City with an expectation of in-office work 1-2 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with financial reporting and analysis, ensuring timely and accurate data is provided to stakeholders.
Support fund audits and compliance requirements, collaborating with internal and external auditors to ensure proper financial controls and reporting.
Work with the accounting team to monitor and report on portfolio company financials, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
Help evaluate potential new investments by conducting operational due diligence and identifying operational risks and opportunities in target companies.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including portfolio company management, auditors, and senior leadership teams.
Support the fund’s overall portfolio reporting efforts, contributing to quarterly and annual performance reviews.
Collaborate with portfolio companies to track and improve operational performance across key business functions (finance, operations, growth strategy, etc.).

**Qualifications:**
- CPA certification is required.
- 2-3 years of audit experience with one of the Big 4 accounting firms.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
