We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and driven Permanent Senior Asset Manager to join our team in the Affordable Housing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing a diverse portfolio of affordable housing assets, ensuring compliance with HUD and LIHTC regulations, maximizing asset value and minimizing risk. This role is a key part of our team, responsible for ensuring the long-term viability and sustainability of our affordable housing portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the affordable housing market, strong financial acumen, and a proven track record in asset management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of affordable housing assets, including Section 8 and LIHTC properties.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HUD and LIHTC.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize asset value and minimize risk.
• Conduct regular reviews of property performance, including financial analysis and property inspections.
• Work closely with property management teams to ensure tenant satisfaction and retention.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including lenders, investors, and regulatory agencies.
• Provide regular reports on portfolio performance to senior management.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for portfolio growth and improvement.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in asset management, preferably in the affordable housing sector.
• Thorough understanding of HUD and LIHTC regulations.
• Proven track record in managing a diverse portfolio of assets.
• Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including tenants, property management teams, lenders, investors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in relevant software, including property management and financial analysis tools.
