Job Details:
This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced Senior Attorney with a specialty in General Liability to join our prestigious team. We are seeking a dedicated professional who is passionate about the legal industry and is ready to make a significant impact in our firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of general liability cases, including medical malpractice. They will also play a pivotal role in setting the strategic direction of our firm's general liability practice. The role requires a minimum of three years of experience in the field.

As a Senior Attorney, you will be tasked with a wide range of responsibilities that are crucial to the success of our firm.

These include:
1. Managing all aspects of general liability cases from inception to conclusion, including trial, if necessary.
2. Providing legal advice and representation to clients in matters related to general liability and medical malpractice.
3. Developing and implementing strategies to effectively handle complex general liability cases.
4. Conducting legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
5. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents and pleadings.
6. Representing the firm in court and before regulatory bodies.
7. Collaborating with other attorneys and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
8. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends related to general liability and medical malpractice.
9. Participating in business development activities to attract new clients and expand the firm's general liability practice.


To excel in this role, the ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active membership in the Connecticut State Bar.
3. A minimum of six years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on general liability and medical malpractice.
4. Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and resolving complex general liability cases.
5. Exceptional legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and court officials.
8. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Proficiency in using legal research software and other technology tools.
11. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
