An established midsized defense firm in Los Angeles has an immediate opening in their employment law department for a senior attorney with significant experience defending employers across a broad range of single-plaintiff matters. We are seeking experienced attorneys with substantive experience defending employers across a wide range of single plaintiff employment-related disputes and administrative charges. - Drafting substantive motions including motions to dismiss and summary judgments
- Preparing compelling oppositions to a variety of motions
- Investigating and analyzing liability and damages to develop effective case strategies
- Conducting legal research
- Preparing discovery requests/responses
- Taking/defending depositions
- Representing clients in court, hearings, trial, and alternative dispute resolution
