We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Audit Associate to join a great public accounting firm. This is a fantastic opportunity to put your auditing skills to the test, working with a diverse portfolio of clients. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting and overseeing a wide range of audit tasks, including financial statement reviews, compliance audits, and operational audits. You will be a critical part of our team, ensuring that our financial operations are transparent, accurate, and compliant with laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Audit Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Planning and executing a variety of audit engagements, including financial, operational, and compliance audits.
2. Reviewing and analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and other regulatory requirements.
3. Identifying and communicating audit findings, risks, and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
4. Assisting in the development and implementation of audit methodologies and best practices.
5. Collaborating with other team members to ensure the successful completion of audit projects.
6. Providing guidance and mentorship to junior audit staff.
7. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, changes in accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Senior Audit Associate position should have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in audit, with at least 1 to 3 years in public accounting.
2. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
3. A deep understanding of auditing principles and practices, as well as financial reporting.
4. Exceptional analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex financial information.
6. Proficiency in using audit software and other financial systems.
7. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
8. A strong commitment to ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
9. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
