Responsibilities
Requirements
- Build and maintain scalable backend services and infrastructure powering a data-intensive fintech platform
- Design and implement robust APIs and core logic for financial data products
- Develop and maintain data pipelines that process millions of documents across earnings calls and filings
- Contribute to the architecture of systems built for speed, reliability, and scale
- Collaborate with a small, elite team of engineers with backgrounds from top startups
- Own the backend for core product features and work closely with data engineering and search infrastructure
- Work with TypeScript, Python, Airflow, and elasticsearch to power enterprise search features
- Drive product velocity without compromising technical excellence
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering and 2 years at a high-growth startup
- Experience working across Python and TypeScript/ JavaScript
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working with or building infrastructure for data pipelines, search, and distributed systems
- Strong GitHub or technical portfolio demonstrating clean, high-impact engineering work
- Previous startup experience or technical founding background a big plus
- Quick learner with strong product intuition and a bias for action
