Our growing business law firm is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy and Creditor Rights Attorney to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned practitioner with deep knowledge of Title 11 and bankruptcy litigation who is ready to take a leadership role within a collaborative and business-focused practice.

Our growing business law firm is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy and Creditor Rights Attorney to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned practitioner with deep knowledge of Title 11 and bankruptcy litigation who is ready to take a leadership role within a collaborative and business-focused practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent creditors and other parties in interest in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 proceedings
- Advise clients and internal firm attorneys on complex bankruptcy and creditor rights matters
- Navigate proceedings in bankruptcy courts, including contested matters and adversary proceedings
- Negotiate and draft bankruptcy-related pleadings, motions, and plans
- Provide strategic counsel on workouts, restructurings, and enforcement of judgments
- Contribute to the firm’s growth by leveraging existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities
- Collaborate with attorneys across the firm to deliver integrated legal solutions to our clients
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice in Texas
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in bankruptcy law, creditor rights, and related litigation
- In-depth knowledge of Title 11, the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, and federal bankruptcy procedure
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and to serve as a key advisor on bankruptcy issues
- An existing portable business is required
- Proven ability to cultivate client relationships and generate new work
