Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all phases of civil engineering works, from conceptual and preliminary engineering to final design.
- Ensure all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization’s established policies and objectives.
- Implement and manage detailed engineering plans, costs, and schedules (including manpower) for new projects.
- Develop and implement complex engineering models and analyses.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and manage the planning and design of projects.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders during the design and construction phases of projects.
- Provide mentoring to junior engineering staff and assist in the development of future project leaders.
- Prepare and present public reports on topics such as bid proposals, deeds, environmental impact statements, and property and right-of-way descriptions.
- Review government regulations and ordinances to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior civil engineering role.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Proven expertise in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, Transportation Engineering, Land Development, and Water/Wastewater Engineering.
- Proficient in design and calculation software.
- Strong project management and supervision skills.
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar.
- Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
- Willingness to travel as required for project work.
