As a Permanent Senior Claims Examiner, you will be at the forefront of managing and resolving high complexity claims. You will be part of a dynamic team that handles a wide variety of claims, including large loss claims, and you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and settling these claims. This role is a unique opportunity to leverage your analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and industry knowledge to make a significant impact on our business and clients.

- Manage a caseload of high complexity claims, including large loss claims, from start to finish.
- Conduct thorough investigations of each claim, including interviewing claimants, witnesses, and experts; reviewing documents and evidence; and visiting the scene of the loss, if necessary.
- Evaluate the validity and value of each claim based on your investigation and industry standards.
- Negotiate and settle claims in a fair and timely manner, while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and company profitability.
- Collaborate with legal counsel, medical professionals, and other experts as needed to resolve claims.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim files and documentation.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to your work.
- Mentor and guide junior claims examiners, sharing your expertise and fostering a positive, collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Claims Examiner, with a focus on handling high complexity and large loss claims.
- Strong investigative skills, including the ability to gather and analyze evidence, draw conclusions, and justify decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with a proven track record of settling claims fairly and efficiently.
- Deep understanding of the Technology industry and its unique risks and challenges.
- Ability to work independently and manage a large caseload, while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with claimants, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in claims management software and other relevant technology.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Professional certification in claims management or a related area is a plus.
