We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Class Action Associate to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to engage in complex, high-stakes litigation, and to take a leading role in managing and driving class action cases. You will be working in a fast-paced, challenging environment where every day presents new opportunities and challenges. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Senior Class Action Associate, you will be expected to:
1. Manage all stages of complex litigation cases, from initiation through discovery and trial.
2. Develop and implement litigation strategies to achieve successful resolution of cases.
3. Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
4. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
5. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
6. Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management.
7. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.
8. Stay current on developments in class action law and related legal fields.
9. Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and ethical behavior.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Senior Class Action Associate position will have:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar.
2. At least 5 years of experience in class action litigation, with a focus on personal injury and false claims cases.
3. Proven track record in complex litigation, including success in court and mediation.
4. Strong knowledge of dispute resolution processes and strategies.
5. Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple cases and projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
7. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to client service.
8. High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical judgment.
9. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
