Senior Construction Project Accountant with extensive experience in construction accounting. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented and responsible for managing the financial aspects of multiple construction projects. This includes accurately tracking revenue, expenses, pay applications, subcontractor invoices, and other financial transactions. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, construction industry practices, and be proficient in Earned Value Management (EVM) and Estimated at Completion (EAT) to evaluate project performance. This role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and maintaining comprehensive financial oversight across all projects.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Construction Project Accountant, you will be responsible for:
1. Setting up and managing project accounts, including billing and invoicing.
2. Reconciling all balance sheet accounts and preparing journal entries.
3. Utilizing Deltek Costpoint for efficient accounting operations.
4. Ensuring compliance with GAAP, FAR, DFARS, CAS, and other relevant accounting principles.
5. Creating and managing budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within these parameters.
6. Overseeing all aspects of accounting operations, including job costing and estimated completion costs.
7. Managing subcontractor accounts and ensuring accurate and timely payments.
8. Providing accurate and timely financial reporting, including revenue and expense management.
9. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
2. In-depth knowledge of project set up and project billing, account reconciliation, and preparing journal entries.
3. Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint.
4. A strong understanding of GAAP, FAR, DFARS, CAS, and other relevant accounting principles.
5. Experience in budgeting and financial management.
6. A thorough understanding of accounting operations, including job costing and estimated completion costs.
7. Experience in subcontract management.
8. The ability to provide accurate and timely financial reporting.
9. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
10. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
11. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
