We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Scheduler to join our dynamic team. This position is integral to the successful delivery of our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing project schedules using advanced scheduling techniques. This role is ideal for a driven professional with a strong background in Construction Project Management, lean and pull planning, and CPM scheduling.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules from pre-construction to project closeout.
2. Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and clients to gather accurate information for schedule development.
3. Implement lean and pull planning techniques to streamline operations and minimize waste.
4. Utilize CPM scheduling to plan and coordinate project timelines effectively.
5. Monitor project progress, compare it against the baseline schedule, and report deviations and potential risks to the project management team.
6. Conduct regular site visits to verify progress and ensure schedule accuracy.
7. Proactively identify potential schedule impacts and devise mitigation strategies.
8. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize construction processes.
9. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve any scheduling conflicts and ensure smooth project execution.
10. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring all updates and changes are accurately recorded.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction scheduling, project management, and construction management.
3. Proven experience with CPM scheduling and lean and pull planning techniques.
4. Familiarity with construction scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar.
5. Experience in data center construction projects is highly desirable.
6. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of management, staff, and clients.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and ability to quickly learn new software.
10. Knowledge of construction laws and regulations, including health and safety standards.
11. Professional certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are a plus.
12. Data center experience a plus.
