Job Details
Scope of Responsibilities:
Qualification:
- Manage the accounting for a portfolio of GSA properties and fund structure entities.
- Interface with upper management regarding the portfolio performance.
- Review all journal entries, accruals and adjustments.
- Oversee the collection of property receivables.
- Review the weekly accounts payable batches.
- Review the monthly financial packages for the portfolio.
- Review quarterly loan compliance packages.
- Prepare quarterly distribution documents.
- Oversee the budgeting/reforecast process.
- Oversee the preparation of audit/tax work papers at year-end.
- Oversee 1-2 staff members (Senior Accountant and an Accounts Payable Associate)
Qualification:
- BS in Accounting or other related field
- 3+ years of real estate experience
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word
- MRI and/or Yardi experience is a plus
- Real Estate Tax experience preferred
- CPA preferred but not required
