We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Permanent Senior Controller to join our fast-paced finance team. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to showcase their skills and make a significant impact on our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions in compliance with US GAAP.
2. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
3. Research technical accounting issues for compliance and manage the coordination of audits and proper filing of tax returns.
4. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
5. Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.
6. Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
7. Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.
8. Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
9. Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
10. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strongly preferred.
3. Minimum of 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
4. Proven knowledge and experience with SAP, SEC Reporting, and US GAAP are essential.
5. Prior experience with financial statement preparation and external audits is required.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Impeccable analytical and organizational skills.
8. Self-motivated and self-directed.
9. Ability to work closely with a senior management team.
