We are seeking a seasoned and passionate Senior Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of control systems. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to improve existing systems and implement new technologies. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment and who is committed to excellence in every aspect of their work.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop and implement PLC control systems primarily using Allen Bradley PLCs.
2. Develop and maintain PLC Logic Programming.
3. Conduct control system validation, calibration, and testing to ensure the systems meet all necessary requirements and specifications.
4. Oversee the design process controls and automated processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
5. Perform programming, testing, and troubleshooting for control systems.
6. Adhere to and enforce all CIP and GMP protocols.
7. Provide technical support and training to other team members.
8. Develop and maintain SQL server databases for control systems.
9. Utilize RSLogix 5000 for PLC programming and troubleshooting.
10. Create and interpret Electrical Controls and P&ID diagrams.
11. Collaborate with other engineers and departments to ensure project and product success.
12. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and innovations in control engineering.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in control engineering or a related field.
3. Proficient in Allen Bradley PLCs, PLC Logic Programming, and RSLogix 5000.
4. Extensive experience with control system validation, calibration, and testing.
5. Strong knowledge of design process controls and automated processes.
6. Experience with SQL server databases.
7. Experience in the food and beverage industry strongly preferred
8. Strong understanding of Electrical Controls and P&ID diagrams.
9. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
10. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
12. Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
13. Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
14. Certified Professional Engineer preferred
