This would be a fully remote role for folks based out of Texas and Colorado!
We are looking for an experienced Corporate Accountant who is coming with:
This Corporate accountant will handle the full-cycle accounting for the corporate books for the company.
Manages comprehensive corporate accounting operations, including preparation and analysis of quarterly financial packages, general ledgers, and financial reports for lenders and investors. Oversees monthly closing processes through bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and accounts receivable management. Reviews and approves accounts payable, while monitoring aging reports and expense ledgers to recommend accruals and reclassifications.
Conducts detailed variance analysis against budgets and assists with property accounting and construction draws as needed. Manages auxiliary financial tasks including credit card reconciliations and expense uploads. Plays a key role in annual processes including external audits, tax preparation, K-1 distributions, and budget forecasting.
We are looking for an experienced Corporate Accountant who is coming with:
- 4+ years of Accounting experience coming from Real Estate
- Ideally 2+ years from a similar real estate management/investment firm (ideally Commercial real estate)
- Proficiency with Yardi Software is a must-have requirement
- B.S. degree in Accounting is a must-have requirement
