Full-Time & Direct Hire Senior Cost Accountant needed for precision welding & manufacturing tech leader!

Job Details
- Drive monthly cost accounting close: journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
- Analyze inventory valuation, overhead, variances, and margins by product line
- Oversee fixed asset tracking, reconciliations, and annual audits
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, manufacturing, IT, and field service teams
- Lead reporting for inventory, cost of sales, and manufacturing KPIs
- Prepare audit packages and support external audits and compliance (JSOX)
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning cycles
- Use ERP (preferably JD Edwards) and advanced Excel to extract and report financial data
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4 years in cost accounting, ideally in manufacturing
- Strong experience with ERP systems (JDE preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, etc.)
- Proven ability to manage complex data and communicate clearly across departments
