We partner directly with Owners, Developers, Architects, and GCs to help create the most competitive bid in the market. We have grown 75% in the last year and would love a Senior Cost Estimator to help with this growth!

We focus on education, transit, government, healthcare, and more. We are looking for someone to come on board who has a strong Cost Estimating background with an estimating consulting company, or something similar. If this person is located in Chicagoland, this would be hybrid role. If they are remote in another state, they are expected to make a visit to the Chicago office every 4-6 weeks.

Job Details:
We're looking for an experienced Senior Cost Estimator to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position. If this person is located in Chicagoland, this would be hybrid. If they are remote in another state, they are expected to make a visit to Chicago every 4-6 weeks. As a Senior Cost Estimator, you will be a crucial part of our construction operations, providing detailed cost estimates for a variety of projects. If you are a seasoned professional with a strong understanding of the construction industry and a knack for accurate cost estimation, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
1. Conducting detailed quantity take-offs and preparing cost estimates for construction projects across all CSI divisions.
2. Evaluating and analyzing data to accurately forecast the cost, size, and duration of future projects.
3. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project requirements and develop accurate cost estimates.
4. Preparing and presenting cost reports and analyses to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations to guide decision-making.
5. Reviewing and updating existing cost estimating tools and methodologies to ensure their accuracy and effectiveness.
6. Identifying and mitigating potential risks to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
7. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and construction materials to inform cost estimation.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 8 years of experience in cost estimation within the construction industry at a cost estimating firm.
2. Proven experience with quantity take-offs and estimating across all CSI divisions.
3. Exceptional analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
4. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders.
5. Proficiency in industry-standard cost estimating software and tools.
6. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
7. Professional certifications such as Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) are a plus.
