Qualifications
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field); Master’s degree or PE license is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in cost segregation experience.
- Strong understanding of MACRS depreciation, IRS Tangible Property Regulations, and tax depreciation rules.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents, blueprints, and cost estimates.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with fixed asset software and tax depreciation tools.
- Familiarity with LEED certification or energy-efficient tax incentives (e.g., 179D, 45L).
- Familiarity with RSMeans, AutoCAD, or similar estimating and design tools.
- Ability to travel up to 25%
