This company is a medical market research company with over 20 years in the business and highly profitable. Currently they have a small data team (2-3 individuals) but will be scaling that to 10 in the early part of next year. This is a great chance to get in on the ground level with new greenfield work in data visualizations, platforms and dashboards.

Job Details

  • Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and engineers to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.
  • Develop and implement data engineering strategies to optimize data quality and accessibility.
  • Leverage advanced analytics techniques to provide actionable insights and recommendations to the engineering team.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data lakes, algorithms, and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in data analytics and incorporate them into our analytics strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. A Master's degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior analytics role, preferably in the Engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in a variety of programming languages and tools, including but not limited to SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, Python, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Tensorflow, R programming, Java, Hadoop, Scala, and MongoDB.
  • Experience with multivariate analytics, statistical programming, and data visualization techniques.
  • Familiarity with Spark, Github, and other data processing and version control systems.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and leading high-performing analytics teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
