Our client, a leading food manufacturer, is seeking a Senior EHS Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing, setting, and training to the latest EHS standards. They should also have 10+ years of experience, along with several National or State EHS certifications. Food manufacturing experience is highly preferred.

Must be willing and able to travel 80-90% across several different plants located on the East Coast.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and policies that comply with all applicable regulations and standards
Ensure EHS compliance across all company facilities and operations
Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all employees
Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards
Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and develop corrective actions
Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry groups
Manage EHS-related vendor relationships and contracts
Develop and manage EHS budgets and resources
Provide guidance and support to all levels of the organization on EHS matters

Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in EHS management
National or State EHS certifications
Food manufacturing experience is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Strong leadership and management skills
Ability to develop and implement effective EHS programs and policies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks
Bachelor’s degree in EHS, engineering, or related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
