Tech security company is hiring for a Senior Electrical Engineer! Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for designing cutting-edge TEMPEST products and systems? Do you have a strong understanding of both analog and digital systems with a focus on EMI/RFI design, as well as experience with OrCAD PCB software? If so, we want you to join our team!

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting research, development, and design work for TEMPEST products and systems. You will have the opportunity to work with client engineers and customers, collaborate with project leaders to formulate goals and technical direction of a design project, and attend project/engineering design reviews and meetings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both analog and digital systems with a focus on EMI/RFI design, as well as experience with OrCAD PCB software.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and propose alternatives and design solutions for difficult technical problems
  • Prepare technical proposals and evaluate results of analytical, experimental, or design studies
  • Implement creative solutions based on these evaluations
  • Define and analyze technical requirements for a broad range of engineering tasks of increased complexity
  • Provide technical responsibility in the design, development, and/or implementation of engineering products, methods, and processes
  • Interact with client engineers and customers
  • Conduct analog and digital systems level and component level design with emphasis on EMI/RFI design
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems
  • Evaluate operational systems and recommend design modifications to eliminate causes of malfunctions or changes in system requirements
  • Collaborate with project leaders to formulate goals and technical direction of a design project
  • Attend project/engineering design reviews and meetings as required
  • Review all appropriate drawings required to support a TEMPEST product design
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineering to solve production problems that result in TEMPEST production test failures

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Engineering with 5-10+ years of experience OR 15+ years of equivalent related experience
  • Experience in RF signal analysis
  • Experience with OrCAD PCB software
  • Understanding of filter circuit designs and knowledge of circuit boards
  • Strong understanding of both analog and digital systems with a focus on EMI/RFI design
  • US citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD secret clearance
  • Active DoD security clearance preferred. Ability to obtain DOD secret clearance required.
  • Worked in a defense-oriented field (preferred)
