We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. The candidate will play a pivotal role in our construction projects, focusing primarily on electrical construction and data centers. This is a permanent position, ideal for someone with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field, who is eager to apply their expertise and knowledge in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for:

1. Developing and implementing comprehensive project plans, encompassing project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
2. Conducting detailed cost analyses and preparing electrical estimates for our construction projects.
3. Collaborating with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on project cost estimates.
4. Evaluating the profitability and viability of a product or service, using risk analysis software.
5. Analyzing blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
6. Assessing cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
7. Preparing cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.
8. Conducting special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or effect cost reductions.
9. Consulting with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Electrical Estimator position should possess the following:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction estimating, with a focus on data centers.
3. Proficient in estimating software and project management software.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
7. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
9. Proven track record of creating effective, efficient, and accurate electrical estimates.
10. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
