Job Details:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our Construction Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing large-scale, ground-up, new construction projects, with a particular focus on data centers. You will be the key point of contact for clients, ensuring projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals and play a pivotal role in the successful completion of projects that will have a lasting impact on the community. This is a full-time, permanent role that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all stages of project life cycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
  • Manage large-scale, ground-up, new construction projects, with a focus on electrical systems and data centers.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, define project tasks and resource requirements, and manage project budget and timeline.
  • Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the seamless execution of projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
  • Manage client relationships, maintain open lines of communication, and provide regular project updates.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
  • Continually monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management, specifically in the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, ground-up, new construction projects.
  • Experience with data center construction is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Proficient in project management software tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate project risks.
  • Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to ensure accuracy and quality in all project-related tasks.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
