We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Senior Engineering Manager to join our team. This role is vital in driving the strategic direction of our engineering department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing complex engineering projects, developing innovative product solutions, and leading high-performing teams. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the overall objectives of the company.
• Oversee the product development process from concept to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Lead and manage the engineering team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Utilize technical leadership skills to guide the team in solving complex engineering problems.
• Manage the operations of the engineering department, ensuring the efficient use of resources.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential challenges and obstacles.
• Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and a positive work culture.
• Provide leadership in program management, effectively coordinating multiple projects and ensuring their successful execution.
• Drive change management initiatives, guiding the team through periods of transition and transformation.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing department to ensure the seamless integration of engineering designs into the production process.
• Implement and improve engineering processes, focusing on efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering management role.
• Proven experience in strategic planning and product development.
• Demonstrated ability in process improvement and technical leadership.
• Strong operations management skills, with an ability to manage resources effectively.
• Experience in risk management and team management.
• Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Demonstrated experience in program management and change management.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of process engineering.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to think strategically and innovatively.
