We are in search of a dynamic and driven Senior Estimator to join our growing team in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong background in estimating various construction projects, with a focus on demolition, earthworks, and civil works. This role requires a meticulous individual with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the construction process from start to finish. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, conducting risk and opportunity assessments, and liaising with clients and project teams. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects, including demolition, earthworks, civil works, takeoffs, excavation, site work, and mass excavation.
2. Conduct thorough risk and opportunity assessments to identify potential cost implications and provide accurate and competitive project estimates.
3. Liaise with clients, project teams, and subcontractors to gather all necessary information for accurate estimating.
4. Review design documents, project plans, and specifications to determine material, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
5. Analyze and evaluate subcontractor proposals and bids to ensure they meet project specifications and company standards.
6. Provide detailed reports to project managers and clients detailing estimated costs, project feasibility, and potential risks.
7. Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies to ensure estimates are current, competitive, and accurate.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
3. Proficient in estimating software and tools, along with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.
5. Proven experience with demolition, earthworks, civil works, takeoffs, excavation, site work, and mass excavation.
6. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, project teams, and subcontractors.
8. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
9. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
10. A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
