• Lead estimating efforts for road improvement projects, including Mass Excavation, Remedial Work, AC Paving, Underground, and Concrete Structures.
• Utilize strong crew-based estimating techniques and interpret cost data effectively.
• Ensure compliance with Caltrans public works specifications and bidding processes.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop accurate and competitive bids.
• Manage deadlines while maintaining precision and efficiency in all estimates.

Background requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in road improvement estimating and project management.
• Technical expertise in Mass Excavation, Remedial Work, Structure Excavation & Backfill, AC Paving, Underground, and Concrete Structures.
• Familiarity with Caltrans public works specifications and bidding.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and organizational skills.
• Experience with Hard Dollar and Primavera P6 scheduling software is a plus.
