Job Details

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel on complex family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and paternity cases.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, responses, pretrial orders, and trial briefs.
  • Conduct thorough case analysis and develop effective litigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with our legal team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Virginia family law and court procedures.
  • Conduct client consultations and handle all client communication professionally and confidentially.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years in family law with litigation experience.
  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active admission to the Virginia State Bar.
  • Proven track record of successful representation in complex family law cases.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and courtroom demeanor.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and composure.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
