We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Financial Analyst (Valuation) to join our dynamic team in the Medical industry. This position offers the opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced, high-energy environment, where you will be responsible for a variety of complex financial analyses related to company valuations, mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, forecasting, and cash flow models. This is a permanent role that will directly contribute to key business decisions, offering the chance to make a significant impact on our company's financial future.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Financial Analyst (Valuation), your responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting detailed financial analysis and modeling to support the company's strategic initiatives, including valuations, mergers and acquisitions, and other financial projects.
2. Developing and maintaining complex financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting efforts.
3. Conducting in-depth analysis of financial data, identifying trends, and providing insightful recommendations to senior management.
4. Assisting in the preparation and presentation of financial reports and presentations to senior management, board members, and other stakeholders.
5. Performing risk assessments and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making.
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data, understand business needs, and provide analytical support.
7. Participating in due diligence processes for potential mergers and acquisitions.
8. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that could impact the company's financial position.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Senior Financial Analyst (Valuation) position will have:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, valuation, or a related field, preferably in the Medical industry.
2. A strong understanding of financial modeling, valuations, mergers and acquisitions, forecasting, and cash flow models.
3. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
4. Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with a high attention to detail.
5. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software.
6. The ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholders.
7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically about business challenges.
9. A proactive approach, with a strong sense of ownership and a drive to deliver high-quality results.
10. Knowledge of the Medical industry and its financial regulations is a plus.
